• "Life is bright if you beget one More trouble with more children"
• "One heir for one family"
These are some advertisement slogans spread vigorously throughout the length and breadth of the country by our government, for propagating family planning.
Earlier the most advertised slogan was,

"Next child not now and
No more than three" But now the emphasis is on "one child per family", as the norm.
Television and Radio often publicize what the birth control methods are and how the various family planning contraptions are to be used.
Abortion has become accepted in society. It is no longer considered a sin and government gives incentives 4 The Merciful Sri Garbharakshambikai for undergoing the family planning operation. The government vends birth control devices at less than their production cost.
These are all for the welfare of the nation - to control the burgeoning population and have to be accepted for all practical purposes.
But, what steps is the government taking for couples who are barren even after many years of marriage? What medical tests are made available to such couple longing for a single child? What counselling is extended to these hapless ones?
There are so many ways for not getting conceived, and for getting the pregnancy terminated too. But what are the steps to conceive and sustain the conception? God's power is supreme. This book is explanatory of the ways for the childless couple to beget progeny through divine power and grace.
The book explains simple ways to conceive, to sustain the conception and to have easy delivery by the divine grace of Sri Garbharakshambikai of Thirukkarugavur.
I have written with my personal experience how to reach Thirukkarugavur and the ways of worship to be observed in Sri Madhavi Vaneswarar - Sri Garbharakshambikai temple as also the procedures to be observed and followed at home.
I have appended the prayer songs for 10 months, the invocatory Sthothras and an index for the pregnancy period. Further, the medical tips for the growth of the child each month, have also been furnished. One need not spend thousands of rupees to worship Sri Garbharakshambikai. It is only the travel expenses to reach Thirukkarugavur that one should bear.
I can write many examples of immediate benefit right from the ancient legends - including my own life. I wholeheartedly pray to Sri Garbharak shambikai to bless offspring to all the couple who go to Thirukkarugavur and worship her devoutly.
