What is the meaning of this life? How can we make it more meaningful? Or, why should we live? These are the questions which have stared into our faces at one or the other time. There have also been moments when we vacillated between life and death, often under some stress caused by this or that factor. This factor may be health, it may be finance, or it may be emotional. But if one has learnt to live with equanimity, one may never experience this stress.
Equanimity is not impossible to achieve. It is possible if the laws of Nature are observed. Nature demands discipline, as it enforces discipline on itself. A disciplined life is always resultoriented. The achievers have always been a disciplined lot, may they be individuals or a nation. Japan and Germany are glaring examples.
I have tried to communicate through these pages what I acquired in the whole span of my life ninety years. This, in a way, is quintessence of life. I want your life to be blissful. Hence this book.
