Preface

In his book 'Managing Performance' Dr. Krishnadas Nair focuses attention on this aspect of effectiveness. Starting with the aphorism that "Learning is a continuous process", Dr. Nair covers, with examples, various aspects of the art and science of learning the management principles.

One of the highlights of the book is the cases he has covered professionally on value engineering in real-life factory environments. One element that is often missed out in such bench-marking exercise is a well thought out strategy for implementing the changes. The author very succinctly highlights this in his scholarly treatment of the subject.
