In the history of medical astrology, for the first time, a comprehensive approach to locate the disease is given. This book deals with diagnosis of disease. An easy and step by step method is given which can be applied by any beginner of the subject. A must book for lovers of practical astrology.

Shri. Vinod Prakash Goel is a former officer of Indian Engineering Services and served the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. He also held senior managerial positions with private companies in India and abroad before setting up a business in engineering. Manufacturing and contracting.

Shri. Goel is a M.Tech. from IIT Kharagpur and B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering (Honors) from Banaras Hindu University.

In the years 1999 and 2000, he was awarded the Gold Medals for Jyotish Alankar and Jyotish Acharya at the Institute of Astrology, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, New Delhi. Now he is a faculty member at The Institute.

Medical astrology is very important science. Astrologers have been predicting diseases through various combinations in the horoscope. These are available in most of the classical books.

An attempt has been made to diagnose the disease astrologically using divisional charts. The approach is to pinpoint the location & types of disease with the help of Ayurveda. This have been applied and tested on hundreds of horoscopes with high accuracy.

Astrology helps in the diagnosis of seat of problem. The physical symptoms do not indicate the real seat of disease. It is seen in most of the aliment. A case of eye problem is given as example. He was suffering from disease of eyes and was taking injections once a month. He was not able to open his eyes. On examination of horoscope, it was revealed that his Venus was under heavy affliction. Venus was in Scorpio. It was concluded that the problem is generated through intestine. His condition improved a lot after taking care of intestine. Thus astrology can help in correct diagnosis. Doctors concentrated on eyes only.

Medical astrology helps in timing of disease. Corrective measures can be taken in advance.

For the first time a novel approach is given for locating a disease. It will prove a mile stone in medical astrology and lovers of astrology will benefit from it. It will also given faith in this grand science.
