The Bhagavad Gita, or the song of the Divine One, is the advice from Lord Krishna to Arjuna, ostensibly to the human race the world over. A message to uplift the moral values in all respects.
This great epic-devoid of race, religion, caste, creed and origin-is like the soul of humanity and is to be read by all!
The Bhagavad Gita, also known as the Gitopanishad, is the essence of all Vedic knowledge, simplified to be understood by all, so that it can be practised in everyone's daily life to great benefit. It is considered to be one of the most important Upanishads of vedic literature, while believed to have been conceived and written even before the Christian era. Though, like most ancient texts, there has always been a controversy about who wrote this great verse, it is generally agreed that it was Vyasa, the legendary compiler of the Mahabharata, who was responsible for recording the Gita, which forms the core of the great epic.
