There are many editions of this book of eternal wisdom viz Bhagavad-Geeta. Some of them are excellent in which the authors have delved deep into the messages contained in the verses of Bhagavad-Geeta. These authors have realized what Lord Krishna wished to convey. However, these literary and philosophical masterpieces are not so easy to understand for a common man. One should have made a lot of progress in order to reach a decent enough level to be able to comprehend what the authors have wished to convey.
Reading these excellent works is definitely tough going, therefore, the authors of this edition felt that an edition in which the verses, which have important messages are explained though stories, will be good for common man. Don't we learn or get the message easier through stories? The added advantage by adopting this style is that reading such an edition will become easy and interesting, especially if the stories are such that one can relate to them. The authors feel that this fact will encourage a modern person to read through and also get the messages of various verses quite easily.
The authors are of the view that readers will not only enjoy reading these stories but also benefit immensely in their lives by having a clear understanding of the messages of the Lord.
In the end, it is our humble request that readers meditate for a few minutes on the messages of the stories after reading them.
