Evil is back on earth, this time in the guise of Kansa, the tyrant king of Mathura. To vanquish him, lord Vishnu is born again in his eighth avatar Krishna, defender of Dharma.
Since his birth, Krishna has to fight evil in the form of monsters, demons, and ogres. But as he grows up, he observes that the real struggle of good against evil pits him not against shape-shifting monster, but kings, princes, and brave warriors. Will Krishna be able to triumph over the darkness of greed and arrogance that has taken over the land? Will he be able to restore peace and dharma?
The late of Krishna is a journey through awe-inspiring magical lands he breathtaking forests of vrindavan, the magical city of Dwarka, and the arid battlefields of Kurushetra - as he conquers evil through his wisdom and courage to put mankind back on the path to righteousness.
When I was a child, my grandmother would tell me stories of mighty kings and gods and how they slew on demon after another. Soon, these legends started living in my mind. I would imagine demons coming into my classroom, especially during maths class, and it would be up to me to save my classmates and teacher.
I grew up and became a journalist. I wrote about fashion, health, and other mundane issues, till I got the chance to relive a story from my childhood the legend of Krishna. While researching for and writing this book, I delved into its fabulous world. I became all the characters I wrote about, and I had all their advantages.
I live in Bangalore where I work as a technology journalist and novelist. When I am not writing, I like to create stories about the people I see around me, with a steaming hot cup of green tea to help me keep imagining.
