Dr.NVRA Raja has exemplarily, efficiently and imaginatively explored, even in his earlier books, the multifarious points that rule the twelve bhavas, nine planets and twenty seven stars to bring forth a practicable aid and guide to decode the significance of each planet and positions of their star-lords in the zodiac. These effective and experimented tools that are innovative in approach and exploratory in efforts, to arrive at the exact timing of any event, while scrutinizing any chart, which otherwise could be an up-hill task for any conventional analysis. This is an attempt to present the Kalamsa or Sub theory, which itself is a rare concept, the author has brought out those concepts for a wider application blending them with Gunas, Jeeva & Sareera and Digbala to Kalamsa or sub theory.
The treatise title Kalamsa Gunas has been brought forth with the blessings of Sri R Gopala Krishna Row (Meena 1) and Sri NV Raghavachary (Meena 2). My objective is to render the best of Naadi principles (Stellar) to the astrological society. All the necessary and useful information has been treated with great care and explained with various example charts. This work is the outcome of my practical study where I have applied the above said principles to many charts. This book is intended both for the beginner and the advanced students of stellar astrology.
The concept is rare and quite valuable for assessing the strength of houses and planets. One, who reads the concepts carefully and dispassionately, and understands it, will be able to arrive at a fairly correct prediction.
The Nakshatras are the source of energy and can represent one person's journey from birth to death. The stars always explain or indicate inner energy of a person. In Vedic Astrology Jyothis means 27 constellations. These 27 groups or constellation are known as 27 Nakshatras. "Naks" means sky, Akashak Shethra or sky map. In Jyothisa Sastara one without the knowledge of Nakshatra is called a person without eyes. A Daivagna should know the meaning and significance of a constellation. The judgement of horoscope is totally dependent on Nakshatras. If the planets are moving towards a group of constellation, then the planets get into the grip of constellation and starts giving the significance.
Let us take Punarvasu Nakshatra for instance. In the most ancient culture, these Punarvasu stars were seen as supreme twins and the roof of Jupitarian energy are linked to the constellation in the arc of Gemini. The names of the Nakshatra were fixed by our ancient so finely that it gives the meaning to the star. The star Punarvasu brings wealth and hence the name where Vasu means angel or demi god possessing desired qualities and Punar means again. This star also indicates positive energy or light which can help us to get over the darkness. The constellation Punarvasu represents energy and resources at one's command. While arriving or decoding the characteristics or significance of a constellation, we have to link the significance of the constellation's Lord and the sign in which the constellation Lord is placed.
