This book is a rare, spiritual adventure story of one dedicated renunciant's foot pilgrimage through the mountains of India, Nepal and Tibet to Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar, the abode of the gods on earth. Swami Vedananda, a disciple of Shirdi Sai Baba literally takes us with him on his journey. He gives us an amazingly frank and honest portrayal of the physical and spiritual challenges, which he had to overcome on this very difficult yatra. He shares the insights that guided and prodded him on, and the personal darshans granted him, by ascetics, saints and gods.

He records for us, in detail, the remarkable meetings and profound teachings he received from several siddhas, and one in particular, a 700 year old Siddha. Swamiji grants us access to his meditations.

Tears of joy welled up in my eyes when I saw the Gompha where Swami Pranavananda from Andhra Pradesh lived for some time. The lonely (lays spent during my pilgrimage and during the Parikrama in the freezing weather washed away my Karmic bonds. My perspective toward life has changed. My mind and body are flooded with that Divine power. It took three years following my return from Kailash for me to share my experiences in the form of a book. It took three years, for Babaji to permit it. The book was released first through the sacred hands of my Guru, Sri Sri Sri Vithal Baba, who initiated me into the Avadhuta sect.

Many people, find reading this book, in the original language turns their mind inward, regardless of external and internal disturbances. Therefore, I suggest that spiritual aspirants read it over and over sincerely, eleven times to experience the Kundalini Power.

If you can concentrate on Mount Kailash, you can feel that Divine Energy. Mount Kailash is considered the Maha Meru, the central axis through which the cosmic energy enters the world.
