Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupada, the divine heir of Srila Sachchidananda Bhakti Vinode Thakura, revered as the 7th Goswamin of Vaishnava cult. Srila Prabhupad is recognised world over as a pioneer carrying forward the legacy of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the eternal love, piety and universal brotherhood through Gaudiya Math and Mission, established in 1918. He is revered as a crusader for reviving the aesthetic, spiritual and sublime religious practices as propounded and propagated by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
The fundamental object of the Mission is to practice and propagate the spirit and teachings of pure vaishnava faith as described in Srimad Bhagbatam, propounded and propagated by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and practised and taught by Gaudiya Vaishnava Acharyas. The Mission is always engaged in the duty of ameliorating and uplifting all human beings, without any distinction, whatsoever, from all sorts of sufferings that beset the life of man by practising and teaching sublime religion of love based on a perfect harmonisation of all warring elements and contending interests that may possibly exist in the world.
