Jyothisa Acharya, Naadi Jyothisa Kesari (JKR) Dr. NVRA Raja, popularly known as MEENA 2 Junior is an eminent philosopher, counselor and practicing Astro- psychologist for the past 30 years. He was born at Trivellore near Chennai (Tamil Nadu) and did his, PG in Business management. He is in the mining profession for the past 40 years. He is appointed as "Asthana Jyothisa Vidwan" of Sri Ahobila Muth by His Holiness 45th Srimath Azhagiya Singar at Ahobilam in the year 2009. He has been into the science of occult for a long time. He had the fortunate guidance of his father Late Sri NV Raghava Chary (Meena 2) who did 60 years of research in Jyothisa particularly in Stellar Astrology (Naadi). He was drawn to occultism and gradually destined towards astrology. His academic track record includes his successful pursuits of graduation in Science, M.A. in Astrology, M.A. in Philosophy and Religion, M.Sc. (Psychology), Post graduate Diploma in Business Management and Ph.D. in (Astrology) and PhD (Vedanga Jyothisa) from Yoga Samskrutham University Florida, USA. He has guided hundreds of scholars to receive PhD in Vedanga Jyothisa.

He is fully committed to professional and research activities in astrology. He has authored scholarly works and contributed a number of research articles to various journals. He has actively participated in a number of conferences, seminars and National and International workshops and presented research papers. Apart from a profound interest for the subject, he has a flair for teaching and counselling people in the field of astrology. He is the guest faculty and resource person to the master's programme, in the PS Telugu University, Hyderabad and visiting professor to a number of institutions of astrology. He has many titles of honor to his credit in the field of astrology. He was conferred with the titles of "Jyotisa Ratnakara", "Jyotisa Vijnana Marthanda", "Jyotisa Vidya Bhushanam", "Jyotisa Maha Sidhanthi", "Jyotisa Vidya Bhaskara", "Jyotisa Acharya", "Jyotisa Vidya Nipuna", "Jyotisa Rakshamani", "Daivagna Ratna" "Daivagna Shiromani", "Daivagna Bhushanam", "Naadi Jyothisa Kesari", Jyothisha Marthanda, Athendriya Sakthi Sampannuylu and Daivagna Bhaskara etc.

He desires that the subject, astrology should reach the end user who needs it and has been working hard towards this noble cause continuously.

I am happy to state with humility that I have kept up the promise, made to my beloved father late Sri NV Raghava Chary (Meena2) in the year 1993, to pursue research on his work, Practical Stellar Astrology. I could complete my research work on stellar Effects in Astrology-Jeeva & Sareera with the help of Department of Jyothisa & Vasthu, Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad.I am indebted to my guide Prof.Gorasa Veerabhadra Charyulu and my astro Guru Sri PVK Punneshwara Rao for guiding me along a right astro path.

One may follow any system in analyzing the charts for arriving at the timing of events but the predictions will come to happen only by the proper application of planetary karakatwas and on the rightful assessment of the position of planets in various nakshatra padas. There is a general grievance among lovers of astrology that important astro principles were kept as family secrets, by many astrologers for generations and as such the real essence of Vedic astro sutras did not surface to the reach of a common man. I believe that knowledge expands, when it is shared, discussed and debated. If any one understands Stellar (nadi) system of prediction, it will be very easy to arrive at the timing of events and also to assess the strength of a bhava and planet. Though two horoscopes may look similar in their outward appearance, the condition, status and position of the natives differ widely. This is due to the inner stellar effects as per the nakshatra sidhantha or stellar astrology.

Dr. NVRA Raja needs no introduction like a good vine needs no bush as he is popular in the present field of astrology. He is my ardent student dedicated to the cause of astrology, having inherited the basic knowledge from his father late Sri NV Raghava Chary (Meena2).

He did M.A. in Astrology and was awarded with Ph.D. in Astrology by the PS Telugu University, Hyderabad for his thesis "Stellar Effects in Astrology", based on Dhruva and Meena Naadi systems. The concept of Jeeva and Sareera expounded by him is brilliant and unique. The Nakshatra Siddhantha propounded by our ancients is well explained by the author and is intelligible even to a layman.

Earlier he had published a book "Practical Stellar Astrology" authored by his father late Sri. NV Raghava Chary (Meena2). In this present book the author has taken the theory of Jeeva & Sareera to profound heights with practical applications that make this book a unique and innovative disposition on Naadi principles.
