Long Ago the four little sons of Lord Brahma went to visit Lord Vishnu in the spiritual world. They traveled to the gates of Vishnu’s home in Vaikuntha but the gatekeepers Jaya and Vijaya Stopped the boys from entering. Jaya and Vijaya thought the boys were too young to enter Vaikuntha and meet Lord Vishnu. The four Kumaras became angry and cursed jaya and Vijaya to take birth as deoms in the material world.

Jaya and Vijay took birth as the twin brothers Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakasipu. They were very powerful demons who disturbed the Lord’s peaceful devotees. To protect mother earth the Lord appeared as Varaha the boar incarnations and killed Hiranyaksha. Later he appeared as lord Nrisimhadeva and killed Hiranyakasipur to protect the young devoted Prahlad.

As you play the Nrisimha game, Lrod Nrisimhadeva will appear on the game board. There are 36 cards in the game. Pick one card at a time and read the story on the card. Find the picture on the board to match the card and place the card upside down on the board. When you have placed all the cards in the right places Lord Nrisimhadeva will appear to protect you just as he protected his devotee Prahlad.
