Professor IN. Pal needs no introduction in the field of Ancient History and Archaeology not only at national level but across the world. An ingenious scholar, explorer and excavator on field and simultaneously his personal virtues like honesty, humility, dedication and passion for self-study make him the most venerated academician I shall not be exaggerating in pronouncing him the most luminous star on the horizon of Indian archaeology. I greatly admire his contribution to this field.
Professor IN. Pal having the University of Allahabad as his alma mater also studied at the School of Archaeology, Archaeological Survey of India, New Delhi. He began his academic journey as a curator of the departmental Museum of the Department of Ancient History, Culture and Archaeology at the University of Allahabad, Prayagraj and went on to accomplish the higher scholarly positions of Lecturer, Reader, Professor and Head of the department.
His scholarly excellence embraces various distinct Explorations, Excavations, Documentations, Book publications, Research papers, Paper presentations and endless deliverance of special lectures.
