About the Book
A wide demanded book which touches almost all aspects of Islam. It starts with the biography of the Prophet and explains social, economic, cultural religious historical and scientific system of Islam. The translation of devotional prayers is also translated in to English for those who are unable to recite it in Arabic. To make it more comprehensive the author has attached maps for historical matters. Besides these, appendices, index and bibliography has also been given for the benefit to the readers.
Introduction
It is encouraging to note that this humble effort of the Centre Cultural Islamique, Paris, is attracting more and more attention. Not only three large English editions, published so far by us-and as large four to five unauthorized editions in three different countries, that have come to our knowledge-are exhausted, but also translations are undertaken in ever-increasing number of languages. Several of these have come others are either waiting financial means or are still in more less advanced stage of completion. All praise to God,
It is an honour to us to see that the work is prescribed as text book, in several countries. Opportunity of a new edition is taken to revise the text and make a few additions or corrections.
We welcome criticism and suggestions for ameliorating and correcting. God will reward the readers who would contribute this respect.
