SATYEN MOHAPATRA, Senior journalist, worked for over three decades with the national daily, The Hindustan Times, and later as Editorial Consultant and COO with top Public Relation firms.

He has interviewed Nobel Laureates like the British mathematical physicist and philosopher of science, Sir Roger Penrose, Elizabeth H. Blackburn, Claude Cohen-Tannoudji, Bert Sakmann, French virologist Francois Barre-Sinoussi (co- discoverer of HIV) among others.

He has two published books, an illustrated reference work, "Delhi: A City of Museums" and another "The World of Science Fiction Films".

As you grow up (I am nearing 70 now) and look back on your life more objectively, you will notice that life or the Higher Power enlivening it has its own ways to carry its tasks through you.

The present book is a good example to show how you can be nudged and pushed by events, situations and experiences during your lifetime which naturally inspire you to write a book.

More than ten known non-fiction publishers sent in their rejection note looking at the proposal of the present book, on the plea that the book does not fit into their current publishing list.

It was extremely disheartening but undeterred (something goaded inside me) I continued and to my great surprise and happiness India's oldest and internationally renowned publisher of Indological books, Motilal Banarsidass Publishing House agreed to publish the book. It was beyond my wildest dreams.

India's vice president Jagdeep Dhankar had recently released Motilal Banarsidass's book written by the politician- philosopher Dr. Karan Singh, scion of the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir Maharaja.

Motilal Banarsidass Publishing House is noted for publishing 100 volumes of the Mahapuranas, 50 volumes of Sacred Books of the East edited by Max Muller and ten volumes of Manusmriti.
