Divinity exists in every human being. Through we tend to overlook his presence within us a time comes during our sojourns on earth when we feel an intense craving to experience the Truth. True faith and devotion leads one towards that path of enlightenment and hence inspires others to follow same.
In this book the author narrates her spiritual journey with jesus and Sathya Sai Baba as her friends and Shirdi Sai as her Divine Master.
Written in a frank and lucid style the author's reflections are interesting to read which will inspire devotes of Sai Baba to experience his presence in every moment of their existence as he is always with us always being our true friends guide and philosopher.
. Indoctrinated into the Catholic faith and an Indian by birth the author had migrated to Australia at the age of 23. Lorraine Walshe Ryan is a sincere devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba. Her intense faith on Baba has helped her to steer through her personal sufferings and tribulations and enable her to experience. His love each day helping her to look foreword to the next day.
Things happened very rapidly. I vaguely remember hearing about Swami (Sathya Sai Baba) as a child or a teenager, but being indoctrinated into the Catholic faith, no other religion was taught or spoken of in our household even thought we lived between Hindus and Muslims in Calcutta, India where I was born and raised. We were Catholics and only knew of Sweet Jesus: thank Heavens; my Sweet Jesus is still with me.
In writing this book it is solely, The Doer Shirdi Sai along with Sathya Sai and Jesus with whose inspiration and guidance, it has been completed after nine years. During these years I have seen the changes in my life. I who loved to silent whenever the opportunity arises help the needy feed the poor be compassionate and helpful and most of all to make people laugh or at least put a smile on their face. Writing this book has been possible only because of Baba's Grace, who along with Sathya Sai and Jesus have been Doers and me merely following their instructions.
I pray this book with Baba's grace be a reality to those who believe in the Divinity within them. I am that for he is always with you (and me).
I have known Lorraine since 1997 and have witnessed the incredible effects her experiences have had on her. She is a truly unique person in that she lives what she believes and moreover is a genuine and caring individual. I cannot speak highly enough about her.
