About the Book A stream of spontaneous recollections takes the reader through mystical experiences, esoteric teachings and Vedantic secrets. With distinctive frankness, Professor Nagaraj R. Padaki shares pointers and fascinating encounters; an account of the manifestation of Gurudeva Swami Virajeshwara Saraswati after Mahasamadhi and darshan of Divine Mother, a mystical explanation of Kundalini by Jagadguru and a saintly lady, potent association with a Divine Doctor. Also recorded are incidents like the manifestation of golden mangalya of Sri Kanchi Kamakshi Amman, initiation into Maha mantras by a mantra siddha, encounters with Amba in Tiruvannamalai, a Himalayan Yogi and many more.

Through the window of experiences and encounters, the reader is directed to the ultimate. Sooner or later, the reader must take the plunge, plumb the peace within and abide in peace. Our rishis out of compassion, hold before us the highest goal or param dharma, which should be never out of sight abidance in our True Nature: Self or Atma (Atman) or Brahunan through Brahmavidya. This perennial stream was collected week after week from Professor Padaki by the author, under the direction of his GuruMa. Professor becomes part of this divine drama, and shares all that he knew and learned from Gurudeva.

About the Author Ramanathan T. (Swadha Sei), based out of Bengaluru, renounced his career and worldly interests in quest of the Self/Truth/Alman. In his early 30s, Swadha Sei transformed from a left-wing proponent to Jnana Marga through the teachings of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi. In obedience to a divine instruction, Swadha Sei renounced career in his mid-40s and reached the feet of his GuruMa, Shree Mata Swadhaa Devi through providence. The journey and conversations with his GuruMa are chronicled in "Sannidhi Samvadam, published by Hamsa Ashramam.

Foreword This set of recollections from Professor Nagaraj R. Padaki will be received in many ways; a seeker will extract gems of knowledge to progress, a first-time spiritual reader may receive revealed experiences with astonishment, a householder will revisit the direction of one's own life and will realize that seva and sadhana start at home. It will be of no surprise that the readers will be wonder-struck upon reading and reflection.

Preface If you are one of the above first three types, holding this recollection, then you have spiritual pointers to guide and extricate yourself from the modes of samsara, which is an inscrutable and incomprehensible phantom called as maya. The magician is Real, this phenomenal existence is created through His inscrutable power and the individual is deluded like a silkworm in a cocoon. Sri Krishna in the same chapter "Jnana Vijnana Yoga" says, "mama māyā duratyayā- My maya is difficult to cross over." The goal, param dharma, is to overcome this appearance and to abide in our True Nature: the Self or Atma (Atman).
