This book has been possible only by the operation of the Jagadguru's grace. His radiant face often holds one in its compelling fascination, which would be very much a part of the person's psyche. Again how else would it have been possible, at this distance of time, after a hundred years of his birth, to collect from diverse sources, as many as two hundred photographs?
In this book, the design and layout is by Sarada. The same grace is there on her work too as seen in the wonderful, life-like pictures in the book.
The second part of the book is the Vedantic Way to Self-knowledge. In communicating the Vedantic Way to Self-knowledge, the Mahaswamin is unmatched. First a proposition would be stated with absolute clarity and this would be followed up by a most apt illustration from daily life.
I offer my prostrations at His feet. This is the second opportunity that he has bestowed on me to dwell on his sacred life and teachings. The first, a biography of the Mahaswamin 'Jagadguru Sri Chandrasekhara Bharati Mahaswami, Mystic & Seer' was published in 1992, his birth centenary year.
His Holiness, Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamin has blessed me for over the past three decades. His Srimukha for this book and the earlier book as well is proof enough of this.
