This Glossary consists of Sanskrit terms used by Sri Aurobindo in his writing in English. The English equivalents are, almost wholly, in his own words. Roots in Sanskrit are know for their multi-significance and it will be seen in these pages how Sri Aurobindo uses them to bring out varying shades of meaning.
M. P. Pandit Recognised as the man who has made Sri Aurobindo accessible to all, M.P. Pandit lived at the Sri Aurobindo Asharm for over fifty years, the greater part of which was spent as the Mother’s secretary. On the firm basis of his experience he was written and spoken extensively on the Veda, Upanishads, Gita, Tantra, Occultism, Psychology and Yoga in the light of Sri Aurobindo’s integral approach. He is recognised worldwide as an authentic exponent of Sri Aurobindo’s philosophy and its practice as manifested by the Mother.
