This volume contains 35 articles on different aspects of Indian culture and wisdom. Indian culture is an ever growing tree with newer and newer branches and leaves of different hues growing from the time unknown. Whatever be the outer appearance of the tree of Indian culture with different looking branches but the synthetic structure of the holistic culture is marvelously the same. The roots of Indian culture lie in the soil of the humanistic thoughts of great Indian sages sanctified by arduous penances of the ages. The core of Indian culture is the universal welfare and harmonious existence of every object animate or inanimate. India has made an all-round development both in spiritual and physical areas. Every aspect of human society such as social, religious, spiritual, environmental, scientific, technical, law, justice, administration, government etc. was governed by the spirit of human and universal welfare. The papers in this volume give a represent-ation of almost all the aspects of the culture of India. It is hoped that the publication of these papers in one volume will be beneficial to common readers as well as researchers.
