Prof. H. H. Awasthi, Professor and Head, Department of Rachana Sharir, Faculty of Ayurveda, Institute of Medical Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He has a very vast teaching and research experience in the field of Sharir. He obtained his Bachelor's degree and post graduate degree in Sharir from Lucknow University, Lucknow and Ph.D. Rachana Sharir from B.H.U., Varanasi. By his hard work and tremendous knowledge he got selected as an Associate Professor, Dept. of Rachana Sharir, Faculty of Ayurveda, Institute of Medical Science, B.H.U., Varanasi in 2004. He was the Head of the Dept. of Basic principle, from 2005 to 2006 and Head of Dept. of Rachana Sharir from December 2006 to till date. He has guided more than 10 M.D. (Ay.) Rachana Sharir research scholar and presently guiding 6 Ph.D. scholars in the department. He has presented more than 150 scientific research papers in National and International Seminars/Conferences and Workshop. Prof. Awasthi has been honoured with many awards and fellowship from various academic institutes.
Dr. Mohd. Ashraf Khan is a hard working and bright scholar of Sharir Rachana. He obtained his B.A.M.S. degree from Lucknow University, Lucknow and M.D. (Ay.) Rachana Sharir from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 2013. He worked as a Lecturer, Department of Rachana Sharir, Sri Sai Ayurvedic P.G. Medical College, Aligarh. For his efficient contribution in teaching and carrier building of B.A.M.S. graduates he has been honoured with Certificate of Appreciation. At present he is working as a Lecturer, Department of Rachana Sharir, Sri Krishna Ayurvedic Medical College, Varanasi. He has presented many scientific research papers in National and International Seminar/Conferences and Workshop. Many valuable research papers have been published in National and International paper reviewed journals.
