We seem to be living within a confined periphery. Shouldn't we realize that a vast Universe lies outside this periphery? A vast Universe with limitless information awaits us to decipher, understand, adopt and appreciate.
Not all desires are meant to manifest. Some desires must be shunned. Our bounded intellect often tries to justify the mistakes we commit. Only when the mind is in a state of balance, we assimilate and become aware of the positive and negative aspects of our justifications. We tend to forget what we have with us until it slips out of our grasp. There are incidents substantiating the right and wrong for us to follow. But we seldom introspect.
We must have the urge in us to learn, comprehend and memorize anything new. When it happens, we feel rejuvenated.
Sometimes we may crumble under insurmountable pressures: we despair at our inability to find solutions. There is an inner meaning to all the suffering that we experience in life. The way to deal with such situations is to let it pass. Remove it from your mind like you would a stone that is blocking your pathway.
The Almighty has bestowed us with an open heart for Him to reside. But we, assuming that relentless pursuits of desires would lead us towards Peace. We have blocked our hearts. The only way to experience His Grace and Peace is, to unlock our hearts and allow the Almighty to reside.
There are many who complain about 'lack of time' and 'too much time on their hands!'. If such people could become aware of the self, it becomes easy to learn, savor and understand the value and the 'real value of Time'. Have we put in as much time to introspect as to understand the external world around us?
The consistent movement of waves that keep crashing on the shores and its noiseless return to the Sea is a delight to watch. It is something that happens on its own accord. Do the Sea or Waves worry about it? We cry when beseeched with worries. The relentless waves teach us a lesson we could do with. When we step aside from our worries and observe them as an outsider, we can understand the issues better and arrive at a solution.
Sage Yajnavalkya helped solve Maithreyi's problems because she had many questions that required answers. That which is eternal cannot be measured, preserved, cast aside, held onto, omitted or shattered. This indestructible force is the Athma-Soul. This is absolute... impeccable and unblemished.
It is only when we try to understand the unexplained mysteries of the Soul, that we can observe the absolute truth and the falsehood. We will also realize that respite and lethargy can be of no help at. We cannot traverse the entire World by foot. But, we have created various means to travel the world in lesser time. Don't we shy away from the enormity of problems that shackle our feet without attempting to face them with confidence?
Confidence is what is required to extricate ourselves from such binding fetters: courage has to be our constant companion.
It is Courage that will reinstate our relationship with the Almighty.
