Sylvia Plath and Kamala Das convey their complex states of mind. That is why there is a great deal of inner landscape in their poems. In their poetry they use various objects of nature as objective correlatives for their mental feelings. The use of this technique gives an aura of fresh air to the world of their poetry, which is mostly obsessed with anguish and anxiety. Dr Peer Salim Jahangeer (M.A, B. Ed. M. Ed, M. Phil, Ph.D, and DCA) is working as Contractual Lecturer of English at Govt. D. C. Dooru Anantnag Kashmir. He has more than eight years teaching experience at college level in different govt. colleges of J&K. His is also an approved Counselor at IGNOU Study Center 1211 in Kashmir.
