1565, Vijayanagara Empire When Krishnadevaraya, the great hero of the Vijayanagara empire, appoints his brother as successor to the throne, his son-in-law Ramaraya feels betrayed. Though he nurses a feeting of being let down, he is loyal to the empire.

The Deccan Sultanates, the pack of wolves who had always been snapping at the heels of the mighty empire, have now decided to unite for a single purpose the destruction of Vijayanagara.

Abhijeeth Hiliyana is an engineer by profession, but a storyteller by passion. He has a master's degree in computer science from University of Florida. He has always been fascinated by Indian mythology and history and uses writing as a creative medium to express himself. His current Interest is in the Vijayanagara empire and has published a duology on the life of Krishnadevaraya, the greatest emeperor of Vijayanagara. He is an avid reader, currently based in Australia.
