“The sentence revealing the equation between energy and matter does not mean anything to the one who is not adequately prepared. The sentences in Vedanta are no exception; they need to be analysed for understanding. The process of analysis implies negation of all possible but wrong meanings leaving the intended vision of the sentence like daylight. This is what we all Vakyavicara.”
Vakya-vicara has been there in the tradition of Vedic learning. A significant sentence from any one upanisad is taken for open inquiry. One or more scholars dwell upon the same topic. I chose to discuss openly to an interested audience at different places, different significant sentences drawn from the upanisads. Being open to the public, the discussion was always within the grasp of any layperson. I am sure the books coming out in this series will be found very valuable for those who are in the pursuit of spiritual knowledge.
