Debarshi Mukherjee, is an alumnus of Visva Bharati, Santiniketan (An Institution of National Importance and a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan. He is a Professor in the Department of Commerce & Business Studies at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Besides teaching and academic administration, he has worked extensively in curricula design and Innovative Andragogy Development over the last two decades. His theory of Learning Continuity in the realm of Education 4.0 is one of the most intriguing facets of Learning Continuity Research that aims to ensure higher learning gains among students.
I have had an opportunity to know Debarshi Mukherjee, Ph.D., whom I call Deb both for brevity and elemental necessities for over a decade. His professional work and academic writings in the area of management sciences, innovation, systems. entrepreneurship, and learning continuity were further accentuated during the Covid-19 pandemic with Indian academic institutions including his own shutting down for emergency healthcare measures aimed particularly at the safety and well-being of the student community and the teaching fraternity.
