Trace elements are minerals present in living tissues in tiny amounts. Some of them are known to be nutritionally essential, others are essential like Iron or Calcium. Trace elements function primarily as catalysts in enzyme systems; some metallic ions, such as Iron and Copper, participate in oxidation reduction reactions in energy metabolism. Iron, as a constituent of haemoglobin and myoglobin, also plays a vital role in the transportation of oxygen.

A 2015 study by the researchers at Columbia University found a correlation between the month of birth and different medical conditions. Bioplasgens (Biochemic medicines) are usually prescribed according to the month of birth as preventive and supportive therapy.

This book is a comprehensive analysis of the role of the trace elements in the human health. Interactions between the various trace elements are also described.

The book has been written from a new perspective and compared to other similar books, it is loaded with latest information.

Cell Salts or Bioplasgens have always been considered an important part of healing in Homeopathy and Spagyrics. The methods of preparation of Biochemic and Homeopathic Trituration remedies are quite identical.

According to Dr. Schuessler, the Father of Biochemic Medicine, a deficiency of a certain cell salt gives rise to certain symptoms which point to its use as a remedy, and cure is affected by the restoration of the equilibrium of the salt in the body. The modern biological findings tell us of Chelation or salt-hunger as one of the potential disease causing factor. According to Dr. Schuessler Homeopathy works indirectly through Biochemic principles, since many Homeopathic remedies contain one or more of the cell salts. The greater the proportion of a salt in a (homeopathic) remedy, the greater the resemblance between the two (e.g. Pulsatilla and Kali Sulph, which both have among their leading indications, aggravation in a warm room and in the evenings, and amelioration in the open air.) Both Aconite and Arnica contain Ferrum Phos and the similarities between the remedies are to be considered. Likewise there are many common features between Hepar Sulph and Calc Sulph. Schuessler opined that Biochemistry rectifies disease directly, by the administration of homogeneous substances.

I am pleased to have the opportunity to write foreword for the book of Essentials of Trace Elements & Bioplasgens (Incl. Relationship with Spagyrics) which is written by Dr. Debasish Kundu for ADEH students. Because I have a dream for all my Electro Homoeopathic practitioners that one day they must get an official Certificate from any Government Agency and I am happy to say that Maharashtra is the First State in India to offer an Official Electro Homoeopathy Certificate which is being awarded by the Government Agency. Also I have some friends who helped me to fulfill my dream to introduce a Government recognised ADVANCE DIPLOMA IN ELECTRO HOMOEOPATHY (ADEH) course in Maharashtra.

When word comes "ADVANCED" means something new and scientific, so while reading the contents of the book, I found something new and advanced. Since long time Dr. Kundu is writing books on different subjects which are very easy to understand and rich in contents, so I believe this book will help all the Students, Practitioners & Lovers of Electro-Homoeopathy besides students in perusing ADEH examination which contains the study material mentioned in Syllabus by MSBVE, Mumbai. This entire course material will help to improve the knowledge in Electro Homoeopathy subject.
