About the Books The work entitled 'Emerging Trends in Study of Ayurveda' represents new pattern of presentations in the field of publication dealing with the Indian medical science, for paving the progressive path for all-round development of Ayurveda leading to globalization. In tune with multidimensional approach towards advancement of Ayurveda, this work serves a model contribution with applied approach-based on fundamentals, exploratory and experimental grounds. These sections are elaborately dealt with subject material on different aspects relevant to major area and its diversifying facets. In this form, this work carries significant utility in different fields of medical sciences (including biological sciences and pharmaceutical sciences etc.) For getting in-puts in order to make multifarious advancements in Ayurveda, carrying merit, potentials and material, for re-establishing foremost medical science from India in the world scenario.

About the Author Prof. (Dr.) Gyanendra Pandey is renowned Ayurveda of national level-enjoying international repute. As an authority of Ayurveda, research scientist, serially honored erudite scholar, specialist clinician, able administrator, best teacher, commanding orator and technical ex-per mentalist, he holds excellence of multi-dimensional caliber, being actively engaged in the field of Ayurveda. For near about five decades with wholehearted dedication. Prologue Global impact of Ayurveda, the Indian medical system, in field of health and medicine, carries sound background of scientific theories and applied therapies attracting world-wide attention in different branches of medical science of India. Recent advancements in the field of science and technology have inspired, benefitted and endeavored inter disciplinary studies, experiments and trials in various areas of medical science. To keep pace with modern biological and medical science during current era of scientific progress and series of achievements, the sincere, painstaking and applied approach has systematically been made to conduct multifarious studies in different areas of Ayurveda having scientific interest, importance and valued applicability, exploring significant role of Ayurveda in different areas of scientific utility with special reference to drugs, mostly from natural sources which are gaining prominence by widening the scope of utilization in preventive health as well as curative medicine, both major fields of medical science. Present work is unique contribution towards scientific investigation of multidimensional spectra of Ayurveda, recording advance studies with their process, achievements and results in systematic form.
