If one looks around, today every supposed yoga guru is busy selling the subject or using it for his/her own commercial gains. Whatever might be the packaging, the content is always the same. This phenomenon of Kaliyug is creating mistrust among the youth about the pious and powerful vedic sciences. The impression that one gets is that they are just another way of making money while the fact is something else…..
This book is an attempt to give a bird’s eye view of the hidden secrets and advanced scientific bent of mind of the vedic rishis. You will be pleasantly surprised as you read the quotations from vedic authorities on space science, theories of magnetism, mathematics, healing sciences, etc, given thousands of years back in the vedas, the credit of which has falsely been taken by modern scientists.
Sanskrit is called the mother of all languages and it has texts on astronomy, physics, chemistry, geometry, literature, arts of war, music, dance, etc. The vedic civilization was the first civilization to document and write language. Interestingly, the vedic civilization does not talk of religion or supremacy of one religion over the other which itself stems from insecurity, The vedic seers did not believe in forcible conversions by enticing people. In fact, before the time of Mahabharat, there were no surnames.
The vedic cultures began and flourished when there was no pollution… and also no religion. It is later when religions sprung up and man was divided, when pollution took hold of the planet and man became highly selfish and started to live for himself on I-me myself principle… when all this began, the vedic culture started its descent. It’s quite amazing to know that when Ayurveda was given there was no pollution and also no disease.. yet the great rishis wrote it for the benefit of the modern day man… also the few hundred thousand shlokas of the vedas have no author to them… the writers just gave all the gyan and dedicated it to mankind.. not to any one religion.
Markanday Rishi in the Van Parva of the great epic and gyan which is Mahabharat has written that this phase of Kaliyug will witness a time when gurus will sell the vedas and majority will not believe in them… in society no man and woman would be satisfied with each other and there would be chaos. It is in this period of time when no one will even criticize the above and we will begin the end of our destruction.
And the destruction has begun already. Rivers are drying up, polar ice is melting, global temperatures are rising, pollution has reached an all time high, there is mass suffering and we are constantly under the threat of a nuclear war. All this is because we are losing our culture, killing cows, not performing havens and living on the principle of selfishness. It is the dharma of a Kshatriya to aid the creation and protect the weak. Since today no one is performing his/her dharma, hence we are approaching our doom.
It is no coincidence that the things are moving just as our ancestors had predicted. What our ancients said makes a lot of sense if you look at it empirically and logically. It is upon the youth to take the reins in their hands and revive our culture. If you close your doors when the neighbor is getting robbed, rest assured your house is next in line. You cannot be spared. Our culture teaches us to protect the weak and the environment and it is on the youth to restore their faith and revive our lost culture.
This book makes the vedic thought as its basis and is an attempt to educated the modern day man about the principles of a civilized society giving facts about man’s ancestors and the early inhabitants and the amazing storehouse of knowledge and energy which they had at their command, convincing us that we are not the descendants of apes but of super beings, It gives a glimpse of certain amazing concepts, some of which are still unknown to modern man. The prime purpose of this book is to awaken the consciousness of the reader and let him/her know that mankind is one. The threat today is to mankind, and not by any religion.
Hopefully after going through this text, the reader will take pride in being a descendent of the vedic rishis, not apes! Sir John Woodroffe rightly said, “Those who say their ancestors were apes, their ancestors would actually be apes”. I am convinced my ancestors were not apes, read on to find out about yours…
