Sri Bhaghawannama Bodendra Swamigal, Sri Sridhara Iyaval, and Sri Venkatarama Sadguru Swamigal are the gems among gurus who started the bajana marga in Tamilnadu and preached it throughout the world. Of these, Bodendra Swamigal attained Jeeva Samadhi in Govindapuram and his adhishtanam still shines with glory. The house in which Sridhara Venkatesa Iyyaval and the well in that house in which Ganga was brought are preserved in the village Thiruvisaloor. Sri Yen katarama Sadguru Swamigal, was living in Marudanallur. In the Bajan Mutt built by him the successive Sadguru. Swamigals are giving Tharaka Manthra Upadesam even today to people who seek Upadesa. The life histories of these three Gurus has been published by Bhagavan Nama Publications and are being distributed to Bhakthas. The life history of Sadguru Swamigal was told to me by Nagarasanpettai Venkatta and Marudunallur Muthukrishna Sastrigal; it was handed over to them from generation to generation. This was published by me in the Magazine Bhagavatha Dharmam.
