About the Book This Monograph highlights about the Ayurvedic and modern aspects of Diabetic retinopathy. Ayurveda along with modern aspects in a single book covering all aspects of Diabetic retinopathy classification, patho-physiology to various diagnostic procedures, Ayurvedic treatment, modern medical, surgical and laser treatment, complications along with recent advances and future aspects. Basically aim of the Monograph is to understand Ayurvedic samprapti of Diabetic retinopathy and to find an effective therapy in alternate systems of medicine which can reduce the risk of visual loss and slow down the progression of Diabetic Retinopathy.

About the Author The author Dr. Sakshi Kanaujia basically belongs to Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh). She has completed her graduation from State Ayurvedic College, Lucknow in 2010 and did her post graduation in Shalakya Tantra from B.H.U, Varanasi in 2014. She has done her Ph.D from National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur in 2018. She has attended many National and International seminars and presented various papers related to Shalakya tantra. She has published near about 15 articles in peer review journals.
