In this book, Dr. Rao attempts to evaluate various life aspects of human beings, but the emphasis is given on profession, which is always a challenge for any astrologer in the modern era, where diversified professional pursuits are undertaken by people.

In traditional Astrology, as advocated by Parashara padhathi, there are shad varga charts which are commonly used.

While there are many forms in Astrology, and traditional Astrological method is being pursued by many.

While evaluating a chart, the author gives emphasis also for various lagna such as proper Lagna, Moon lagna, Sun lagna, Aruda lagna, Paka lagna, Ghati lagna, Hora lagna, etc.
