Yog for Daily Practice is now in your hands. This book was planned during the end of the year 1988. Everything had been finalized, but because of lack of time work could not progress.
I got some time to think about it only after two years and then I started work on it.
The book called Yog Rashmi was not only popular with the readers, they made the fullest use of the book. Many readers who practice Yog suggested that a small booklet should be written based on Yog Rashmi, so that it may be very handy for the daily practice of Asanas. The idea appealed to me as I was also thinking on the same lines.
Yog for Daily Practice contains the Yam, Niyam thirty one Asans, Vaman Neti, Rubber Neti, Jal Neti, Kapal Bhati, Narishodhan, Ujjai, Agnisar Kriya and Uddiyan Bandh.
Dear Readers, I do not think that Yog is a cure for diseases. It is more or less a way of life which if followed helps to keep a person, healthy, active, pleasant and happy. The practice of Yog not only helps to keep a person healthy but also helps one to keep away from diseases.
Sant Kabir said, People remember God during adversity, not when they are happy. If they pray even during happiness why should they ever be unhappy. This also holds good for the practice of Yog. If you practice Yog when you are in the best of health and spirits then you will never fall sick and will ultimately experience the realization of God. If you start to practising Yog when you are already suffering from some disease then only the future will be able to tell you whether you will get or not. A lot will also depend on the regularity of your practice, your faith and confidence in the system.
I am sure that this little booklet will prove to be of help in your daily practice of Yog.
