Consciously or unconsciously, many people in this modern world are resorting to treating symptoms rather than the curing the disease. This approach is increasingly seen in all problems be them - - personal or organizational; social or economical. We often see people who are manipulating the things by rather than addressing the root-cause and making sincere efforts to solve them.
We can learn many things from Swami Vivekananda who always tried to address the root-cause of the problem and solve them permanently. He disapproved the attempts of his disciples to promote his name and asked them to promote only his ideas! What a noble and straightforward approach! He stands as a testimony for the approach that leadership is nothing but developing others; he made incessant efforts to develop his brother-disciples, disciples and friends and people of the country.
Look at the present system of highly competitive education in which scoring highest marks is the sole purpose of education.
