About the Book We are happy to present the book History of Kashmir from 14th century A.D. to 20th century A.D. We have made every effort to remove the errors of previous works in this field and make the book up to date. We have added new material at places where necessary, besides some new additions have been done in this book. Latest works of reputed historians have been consulted in preparation of the book very carefully. The language of the book is simple. The aim is that the students of Graduate and other higher classes should get the maximum useful material in a language which can be easily understood. This book is very lucid and accurate.

About the Authors Dr. Arif Ahmad Dar, Nick named as: Dr. Arif Anjum has done B.A from the University of Kashmir, B Ed from the University of Kashmir, MA History from the University of Kashmir, M Phil from Bhagwant University Rajasthan and Ph.D. from Career-Point University Kota Rajasthan. He has qualified CBSE UGC NET, NTA UGC NET, JK-SET and various Online Certificate Courses (Archaeology. Architecture, Museology etc.) He has attended and presented papers in several conferences and seminars at the National and International levels. He has also published more than 20 Research Papers in several reputed Journals at the National and International levels (Scoups, UGC-CARE etc). Presently he is Lecturer History at Govt. Degree College Shopian J&K and is also a Counsellor at IGNOU and teaches history at the study center at Govt. Degree College Kulgam. Dr. Hilal Ahmad Shah is Assistant Professor (History) at Govt. Degree College Damhal Hanjipora Kulgam. He is also Coordinator IGNOU at Govt. Degree College Damhal Hanjipora. He has attended and presented papers in several conferences and Seminars at National and International level.
