About the Author Dr. Satakshi Sharma Completed her B.A.M.S degree in year 2013 from Ch, Devi Lal College of Ayurveda Jagadhari, Haryana under Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra and M.D Ayurveda (Rasa Shastra evam Bhaishajya Kalpana) form ALN RAO memorial Ayurvedic Medical College & P.G Centre, Koppa, Karnataka under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka in year 2016. She has a history of brilliant and laborious work in her academics and extra-curricular activities. She is working as Assistant Professor in the department of Rasa Shastra evam Bhaishajya Kalpana in Ch. Devi Lal College of Ayurveda Jagadhari, Haryana. She is having an experience of approx one year in teaching of Rasa Shastra evam Bhaishajya Kalpana and hoping for a good achievements while contributing to the Ayurvedic Pharmaceutical Studies. Foreword I am glad to know that Dr. Satakshi Sharma M.D Ayurveda (Rasa Shasta evam Bhaishajya Kalpana) has written a text book titled "CONCEPT OF SCIENTIFIC EQUIPMENT & MACHINERY AND ALL OTHER MODERN TOPICS".

After going through its manuscript I found that it compiles all the Modern Topics and scientific machinery and equipment that are include in syllabus of BAMS prescribed by CCIM Delhi, for the students of 2nd year of B.A.M.S (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery).

Book describe all the topics separately and basics and briefly which is sufficient and in easy language for the students of 2nd year of B. A. M. S.

Book also describe the brief knowledge of Drugs and cosmetic Act 1940 and Rules 1940.

This book shows that the author has studied the points of syllabus in her studies and teaching also. She has taken the references of Ayurvedic texts, Internet sources and study material from Drug Cell of AYUSH Bhawan, Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences, and Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCIM & H) Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, and New Delhi.

It shows her keen interest in studies teaching and writing. I wish for her, a great success in her carrier and successes for her book.
