I had a very pleasant experience to go through the text "Samskrta-Vyakarana- Siddhantam", compiled by Prof (Dr.) Ghanashyam Dora, Ex-Principal, KVS Institute of Ayurvedic Medical Science and Research Centre, Mardapur, Baksupur, Ghazipur (UP), particularly, on the subject "Ayurvedlya samskṛtam". I aspire, the subject. "Sanskrit Grammar' will be a stepping stone to acquire the fundamental knowledge in ancient Ayurvedic treatises like Carakasamhita, Suśruta-samhita, Aştangahṛdaya, Astangasangraha, Sarngadharasamhita, Bhavaprakāśa, Madhava Nidana, Bhaisajya- ratnavali, Yogaratnakara, Rasatarangini, Rasaratnasamuccaya, Siddhayogasangraha, Sahasrayoga, Gadanigraha etc.
The text Samskrta-Vyakaraņa" so titled as "Samskṛta-Vyakarana-Siddhantam", is a commentary anthology of texts originally compiled by Maharşi Panini, kātyāyana and patanjali. The book carries its own importance for describing various aspects in respect of Sanskrit Grammar as prescribed by the National Council of Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), New Delhi for First BAMS course. The entire compendium is concentrated on familiar topics of Sanskrit Grammar as delineated in the syllabus.
