Krishna Kumar (born 1951) was professor of education at Delhi University. He had been the head of the Central Institute of Education and a member of the Yashpal Committee. He also served as the Director of National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT).His books include Raj, Samaj aur Shiksha; Vichar Ka Dar (in Hindi); What is Worth Teaching; Learning from Conflict; Social Character of Learning; and Political Agenda of Education. His writings for children include Aaj Nahin Parhoonga (in Hindi) and Princess Promila, a novel.
