MACHIRAJU KAMESWARA RAO
My first story 'Blind person's money' was published in September 1969 Chandamama magazine. The inspiration for this story was my father. Almost 250 stories were published in Chandamama continuously since 1973. 100 above stories were published in other children's magazines. Also 100 above stories were published in Andhra Prabha, Pathrika, Jyothi, Andhra Bhoomi, Swathi, Vipula etc. Four Novels in Swathi and two novels in Chatura were also published. One story was taken by Cambridge University and another story by Maharastra Government from the book 'Chandamama Stories' published by Visalandhra. 10 stories were published in a book with the name 'Papisti Dabbu.' I received Chakrapani-Kolasani Award, Madabhushi Rangacharya memorial award and Smt. Akella Subbalakshmi felicitations in children's literature. I retired as manager in Canara Bank and settled in Secunderabad living a leisurely life with my wife Lakshmi Kumari, a boon from God. My family includes my son Karthik, daughter-in-law Divyaswetha, grand daughter Aadya, daughter Sravanthi, son-in-law Naveen Krishna, grand daughters Sarayu and Sailusritha. I congratulate heartfully M/s J.P. Publications for giving yesteryear's Chandamama Stories to this generation in a beautiful form. Smt. RAJAKUMARI JONNALAGADDA KANDUKURI
