This is a phenomenal collection of poems that spring from the dulcet heart of damsel. The poet's persona has made a kaleidoscopic view of life events such as the predicament of a human soul wherein it tries to relocate itself within one's own heavings. Nothing goes unnoticed. The poet's bird's eye view captures the ordinary life with all its Eddies and blockages. "A Bundle of Joy" has been exploring the explored in her own way. The choice is her own but the poems reflect universality.

I was walking amidst the blowing winds and birds flying in the air. The morning dew and the chirrups of the birds awakened my mind from reminiscences. My thoughts flew back to recollect the sweet memories of my heart. A Bundle of Joy is a collection of songs of a simple heart that has been composed and tuned according to the resonances and dissonances of the mind.
Poetry is a fascinating genre for me. My journey as a poet started long back. As the poet in me was hesitant to come out, I remained a passive woman of harbingered thoughts. I see beauty in life. My mind loves to celebrate the beauty of life with all its beatitudes. The poems picture the varied perspective of the beauty of life.
I want to add a little more beauty and music to my life, so I chose poetry. "Poetry, for me is the silent whisper". My mind unravels the mysteries of the hidden emotions and I love to drowse myself into the sweetness of the poetic verses. Emotions always took a roller coaster ride that unveils the understanding and acclimatizes abrupt thoughts to cater to the feel of my heart. The stride over my poetic imagination often helps me to delineates my existence. Nature held my mind to introspect. I walk back to my garden to see life teeming there with hope and integrity and I found joy in celebrating God's bounty through my verses.
The poems are born from the depth of my heart on a riverbank, a seashore, a brook, and at times, a confusing night. I wrote when my soul rejoices when my mind frets when I sulk or cry. "My mind underwent a new purification" and it's just miraculous healing of my soul.
The twenty-three poems speak my heart out. The streaks of happiness and worries that worry the heart, pain that erodes the mind, the void that could never be filled and the journey that could never end silhouette the A Bundle of Joy. My Seraph "... ushered me to the wonderland of fascination .../ Veils parted and the soul started to sing". The Battered Soul "mourns, bereaves and grieves/ Waiting for the new vision" is a reflection of many battered souls in the society waiting for dawn. Redemption and recuperation lie there. My Perfect Abode is a complete dedication to my native hamlet Padmanabhapuram. Love is seen as a gentle breeze, hope and each woman loves to have a "wonder man/ Who shoulders ... and strengthens ..." her to make her a rainbow in his cloud.
