Poet Udbhrant is one of the top personalities of the contemporary Hindi poetic world. He has tried his pen on almost all the modes of poetry and literature and has left the Hindi world spellbound by his massive writing both qualitatively and quantitatively. UDBHRANT, born on 4th September 1948 in Navalgarh (Rajasthan), is a top ranked Indian poet, writes in Hindi, recipient of several provincial as well as national state Awards for his works spread over during the last 55 years in almost all the branches of literature. His more than a dozen books of poetry, short story, critism & memoirs have earned a greater name and fame for him among the readers. His more than hundred books have seen the light of the day and even at the age of 69 he is active in writing with full zeal. Poet He worked almost in a dozen private & state organizations. In the year 1990, he was selected by Union public service Commision of India in the first batch of Indian Broadcasting (Programme) Service Officers of India and joined as Asst. Station Director in Doordarshan -the National Electronic Audio-Visual Media.
