This book is unique and very handy for the Astrologers to look into the profession and lifestyle of an individual as per Brighu Naadi Astrology. The author has given different methods to know the type of profession, date of entering into the profession etc., by using the placement of Saturn. The case study given in the book is for easy learning the techniques of knowing the pattern of an individual’s profession. In the second part the author has given the guidelines for the readers to know the lifestyle and achievements of the individuals by studying the distance of Jupiter from the other planets. The Author in his book has given easy and precise methods to know the happenings of the incidents in an individual’s life by observing the planets touched by the transiting Jupiter. Author’s main aim is to provide the readers easy methods for precise predictions of profession and lifestyle of an individual.

Profession and the way of life is a very important subject. Every individual is interested to know how he will be living and what he will do for his living. Readers of astrology are trying hard to know precisely the lifestyle and the profession of an individual. In this book I have explained unique methods of knowing the exact lifestyle and the profession of an individual based on his natal chart. This book is divided into two parts, the first part speaks about Saturn (Karma/action) the profession giver and the second part about Jupiter (Atma karaka/the life force).

In the 1st part I have explained a few principles to know exactly when a native will have his job, the type of job, duration of the job, reasons for the change of job, about the retirement age and also the reasons for hurdles in job. I have provided the readers with case study which will help the readers to be precise about the profession of an individual.

The 2nd part is about Jupiter (Atma karaka/life force) wherein I have given all the combinations to know the lifestyle of an individual, reasons for his happiness and his problems. Readers have been provided with enough information and methods of looking into the lifestyle of an individual with the help of the other planets placements from Jupiter. I have also provided the methods of knowing the achievements of an individual when the transiting Jupiter touches different planets in the natal chart, which is not found elsewhere.

The subject in this book is purely based on Brighu Naadi principles and I hope readers will accept my combination of this study to the world of Astrology for knowing the profession and the lifestyle of an individual.

Once again I proudly say that the study material and the case study given in this book is very unique, and is totally different in its presentation. My main motto is to simplify the process of knowing about a person and his profession and to give the best subject to the readers of Astrology. I hope this small contribution to the ocean of astrology will be greatly accepted.

Saturn is the second largest and well decorated planet. The beauty of this planet is its rings given by the super force to make it unique among the other planets. Saturn plays an important role in Astrology because, Saturn is the planet which tells us about the previous life's karma/action. This bad karma/action (good/bad) of the previous life, will design the happenings of this life which is significated by Saturn in accordance to its placement in different houses and different signs. Saturn gives us our boundaries self-control and limitations. In Astrology the sign or the house in which Saturn is placed tells us our limitations, fears and responsibilities.

As said earlier that this life is based on the Karma/action of the previous life, so, the mortal bodies is formatted by Saturn and in the due course Saturn devours it as soon as we repay the past Good/Bad Karma/action. Hence, Saturn is not a devourer but acts as a liberator to the mortal bodies which were formed by the Karma/action.

Saturn the lord of Karma and action rules the skin, teeth, ears, bones knees etc. Saturn also symbolizes fear, delays, old age, discipline and obligation. According to the placement of Saturn (in different houses or signs) and can easily know the places in which an individual needs rectifications or actions to be taken for fulfilling responsibilities. We have to bow to the laws of Karma and pass through the tests to be free to enter into the realm of the super force.

Saturn takes about 30 years for a full circle. During Saturn's transit everything is slowed down, we encounter delays, frustrations, and pressures, but challenge us to face reality, thereby offering us much wisdom and even freedom.

Saturn Astronomically

Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and is the second largest in. the solar system with an equatorial diameter of 119,300 kilometers (74,130 miles). Saturn is visibly flattened at the poles, a result of the very fast rotation of the planet on its axis. Its day is 10 hours, 39 minutes long, and it takes 29.5 Earth years to revolve about the Sun. The atmosphere is primarily composed of hydrogen with small amounts of helium and methane. Saturn is the only planet less dense than water. Saturn's hazy yellow hue is marked by broad atmospheric banding similar but fainter than Jupiter.

Saturn's rings make the planet one of the most beautiful objects in the solar system. The rings are split into a number of different parts, which include the bright A and B rings and a fainter C ring. Space probes have shown that the main rings are really made up of a large number of narrow ringlets. The origin of the rings is obscure. It is thought that the rings may have been formed from larger Moons that were shattered by impacts of comets and meteoroids. The ring composition is not known for certain, but the rings do show a significant amount of water. They may be composed of icebergs and/or snowballs from a few centimeters to a few meters in size. Much of the elaborate structure of some of the rings is due to the gravitational effects of nearby satellites. Saturn has 18 named satellites and more than a dozen of newly reported satellites that have been given provisional designations. It appears that at least six of them are real satellites. This brings the total number of satellites up to 24 and will probably grow.

Saturn as per Brighu Naadi

Sage BRIGHU in Naadi astrology speaks about Saturn as Karma/action (Profession). This karma/action which is denoted by Saturn is based on the previous life's good and bad deeds done by the native. Every individual on the earth has a job or profession to do and fulfill his needs and desires, and this profession or job is destinated by the actions/Karma of the individual in his previous life. Though at the time of the birth of a native, the native will know nothing of his destiny/profession, but as per Brighu Naadi, an Astrologer can easily know the profession or actions of an individual by looking into the Saturn's placement. The profession of a native can be known by the placement of Saturn in the sign (zodiac sign), and also by the planets who are present in the preceding houses to Saturn's placement. Planets which aspect Saturn denotes the way/mode of profession. The Planets conjoined with Saturn tell us the hierarchy or the placement of profession to the individual. The planet which is aspected by 3rd house sight of Saturn tells us the skills or the way an individual will perform his actions/profession.

For e.g., when Mars is in the 3rd house from Saturn, you can be sure that skills of hands are used in the native's profession. When Sun is in the 3rd house, the body is used, chemicals or fire is used, or you can be sure that the native works for others. When Moon is in the yd house from Saturn you can be sure that the native will either change jobs frequently, or work in a hotels or restaurants, or he may work in a foreign land.

In addition to this even the conjunction of Saturn with other planets tells us about the profession. For e.g., when Jupiter is conjoined with Saturn you can be sure that the native will have a teaching or preaching type of job. When Kethu is conjoined with Saturn or is placed in the yd house from Saturn he may become an astrologer. When Sun is conjoined with Saturn, the native will be placed in a very high position or if it is business he will have a whole sale or large-scale business. When Saturn is conjoined with Sun and Mercury, you can predict that the native will have business and will also continue with the family business.

Saturn also helps in knowing the timing of events in a natal chart. Saturn is called as a karmic planet or a planet which tells about actions of an individual in the path of his life. Far better than Dasa bukthi, in Naadi Astrology, one can know about the happenings of the events in one's life just by watching the transiting Saturn and the planets which conjunct Saturn while transiting. For e.g., Saturn while transiting aspects Venus from the yd house, shows the time of profession or job prospectus, or in a male's birth chart it tells about meeting of an women or having a family life. When Saturn touches Mars or aspects Mars from the yd house, this is the time the native will have a own house, construction / renovation of a house will take place. Saturn in a female birth chart when aspects Mars from the 3rd house denote the marriage of the native. Saturn aspecting Kethu from the 3rd house denotes change of job or a pilgrimage tour. Saturn aspecting Sun from the 3rd house shows ceremonies, functions or promotions in the profession or business.
