The Bhagavad Gita is unquestionably the most widely read scripture among our holy books. The deepest reason why it still moves millions of aspiring hearts is that Krishna's divine song is in the last analysis, the most convincing gospel ever preached by a Messiah. The Bhagavad Gita is a valuable aid for understanding the supreme ends of life through a process of wisdom, love and actions. By rendering the Sanskrit divine song into English blank verse, Dilip Kumar Roy has done a literary miracle which only he could perform. His interpretation of the message of the Gita is conspicuous by its freshness, simplicity and relevance to modern life.
