Bhagavadgita is the essence of the whole of the Upanishads and is edified by the God Himself. It being a powerful edification which guides one with appropriate instructions to conduct oneself when one is under the stress of a great incumberance and gets uncertain whether to do or not, how to do? how much to do? and when to do?
Under the pretext of Arjuna God bestowed this noble celestial song to the whole of the mankind. It is known from the great history Srimanmahabharata that it was initiated solely for the war incitement; but by a keen observation of the causes and consequences in the volume. it is crident that for the edification of the Bhagavadgita alone, God has duly set a stage as large as that. That is why it is resolved that ford Krishna alone is fit to be celebrated as the "Paragon Preceptor". He bestowed Bhagavadgita to the whole of the mankind as a beacon in their life's journey. No merits are to be possessed for its perusal except a little zeal and diligence to peruse it.
