Dr. Sheodan Singh Bhadoriya was born at village Kirtikhera of district Fatehpur of Uttar Pradesh in India. His father Shri Rajaram Singh Bhadoriya was lecturer in Bahua Inter College, where he got his intermediate education. Then he post-graduated from University of Allahabad and completed his doctorate in Mathematics. He joined Indian Revenue Service in year 2000 and since then held various posts in Department of Income Tax of Government of India. 'Nivedita, Yun hi ye sab sochta hun main' and 'Uttar Prashna' were his initial poetry collections, which were recomposed as Tukda tukda Bharat' and 'Shunya ke swar' later on by Parinde Prakashan. He published 'Gita ke sahaj Bhav' in 2015 which was collection of his reflections on the Gita. This collection is his another attempt to understand the message of the Gita in contemporary context.
The Bhagvad Gita, Le the Song Divine, has been considered by many a dialogue, which carries perennial message to the humanity The issues which have been reflected upon are basic, essential and of permanent importance if one delves deep into this, it can be easily understood that the forces of Universe, which create and govern the existence, function to maintain the order and expect the conscious creations to behave in a certain way which may protect and promote the existence. Rita (order) of the Vedas has become Dharma of the Upanishads. The Gita is one of the Upanishads, which propounds philosophy of Dharma Whenever this dharma is challenged, the forces of existence take turn in such a way that the order is re-established.
Human mind is a functional conundrum and while entangled in multifarious forces, it develops numerous attachments and till it is not freed from the same, the being suffers, his wisdom gets deluded and decisions perverted. Arjuna is victim of such attachments so much so, that he tries to flee from the battlefield. Shri Krishna had to explain entire mechanism of bondages, to make him understand the same.
Actions are essential since without the same even the existence shall be challenged, which is against the very purpose of the creation. But actions cannot make one free, so also says Shankaracharya, however the knowledge can. For harnessing fullest potential of existence, one has to seek redemption from the bondage and that is possible by understanding very mechanism of the bondage. But mere knowledge cannot serve the purpose of the Creation, there is always need of some actions, some deeds, some duties, so that the existence may protect and promote itself.
