Foreword

I am pleased to introduce the present book" Rognidan & Vikriti Vigyana-Essential of Nidan Panchaka "- attempted by a young Ayurveda Professor Dr. Vidula Gujjarwar. The concepts and principles of Nidan Panchaka are very important from the perspective of Ayurveda diagnostics and clinical assessment of patients. This aspect is systematically covered in the book entailing the contents in accordance with the subject syllabus of BAMS course. Classical description with technical explanation in simple language seems to be key point of attraction for the students. The authoress has tried her best to explain contemporary relevance of application of Nidan Panchaka with appropriate interpretation. I feel the book would prove beneficial to the Ayurveda students, teachers and practitioners for clear understanding of Ayurvedic diagnostics and their clinical application.

Congratulations to the authoress and best wishes for successful publication of the book. May the publication help the readers in fulfilling their knowledge aspiration and training needs in the area of diagnostic methodologies and tools of Ayurveda.
