I had been an Advocate by profession. So the readers may be astonished to find how an Advocate can be an Astrologer and how can he make attempts to treat the patients, by giving bio-chemic medicines based upon Astrology. I am not a Doctor or an Astrologer by profession. Then why this attempt? I may submit to my learned readers that from my very boyhood I am studying Astrology and am a great believer in Astrology. I am very much fortunate to go through Parasara, Baraha and other manuscripts, which are not published, as yet. In Brihat Parasara there is a verse "भागये लगने प्रवन्धे वाकारकांशे शिखि तथा गणितज्ञेता भवेन्नुनं जोतिष शास्त विशारदः" i.e., if Dragon's tail is posited in the first house. Ninth house, fifth house or in Karakangsa Lagna then he becomes a mathematician and well versed in Astrology. In my case this Dragon's tail is well posited in the ninth house, which is the house of Jupiter. My ascendant is Aries and Mars is posited in this house i.e., Lagna is Mesh (Aries). Therefore, Dragon's tail is the planet, which is responsible for my study of Astrology. Moon is the Karta of herbs. There are nine herbs which are very important in the field of healing of diseases. Wearing them in hand was found to be very efficacious, when a particular planet is found to be disturbing. The ill placed malefic planets' influence can easily be lessened by holding the particular herb.
