A long-felt need for familiarizing aspiring Srivaishnavas about our Sampradhaya and a timely response urging me to undertake the project by my good friend in New Jersey resulted in this book. I have managed to provide appropriate topics to familiarise young ones and those who have not had time to learn them. One of them says 'do not fritter away your present life'. The main stress is on driving home the importance of doing 'kaarmic duties' and at least reach the ground level of the huge tree named Visishtaadvaitha. Due stress has been accorded to the all-important need to undergo Sharanaagathi (Prapatthi) which is the bed-rock of Srivaishnavism.
There are several topics of interest and one unmissable Q & A piece wherein the John Templeton Prize recipient, Francis Collins, a US geneticist has reached a conclusion after pains-taking effort on 'complementarity of Science and Faith".
The book tries to access the interest of young Srivaishnavas in particular. The format has been so devised that by reading one section, the reader would get drawn into the next one and there is an organic link-up from the first section to the final one.
Although the material provided has been strategically aimed at youngsters, even others may find it interesting. An effort has been made to cover the essential aspects of our Sampradaya and our philosophy.
