A large number of the people go to Arab countries either in search of jobs or in exploring business opportunities. Neither the job seekers nor the businessmen can live there unless they know Arabic. If you cannot speak their native language you can neither communicate nor strike deals. The very purpose of going to these countries will be frustrated.
The main problem concerning Arabic is that it is written and spoken differently in different countries. The author of this book has a wonderful and a commendable job of teaching Arabic in a way that the learner feels at home in all the Arab countries. Basics of grammar and a few pages of vocabulary will help the learner to have a reasonably good command of the language. Ready-made Conversation for different places and in different situations can equip the learner with appropriate words and sentences for everyday situations.
At a Time when there is a great rush of Indians to the Arab countries in view of better employment opportunities there, it has become essential to have a working knowledge of the Arable language for those who are going there. This facilitates living among the Arabs and makes day-to-day life easy.
In view of this need, we have pleasure in bringing out a book on the teaching of the Arabic language through the media of English and Hindi.
We have divided the whole book in many parts and have given a few lessons in basic grammar. The difficulty with the Arabic language is that it is spoken and written differently in different Arab countries. Something the difference is do great that a person from one Arab country cannot understand the Arabic spoken in another Arab country. We have, therefore, tried to teach in such a the learner will feel at home in any Arab country, even though he may not be completely conversant with the language of the area in which he is living. We have added a few pages of vocabulary also to facilitate a working knowledge of the essential parts of the language. We have every hope that the learners will be happy with this small work. We shall always be happy to receive any constructive suggestion for improving this work still further.
