Saint Annamacharya's songs are unique for their divine visualization and distinct diction. Out of his 32000 compositions, about 40% are traced and transcripted. Out of these only about 3000 songs are Adhyatmnic and the rest i.e. the majority are Shringaric. All Songs are dedicated to Lord Venkateswara although the individual songs are addressed to Venkateswara, Rama, Krishna, Alamelumanga, Anjaneya, Vittala or any other.
The present book consists of 12 Sankeerthanas. composed by The author in Sanskrit. There are Songs addressed to Krishna (3), Adokshaja (1), Rama (3), Maha Vishnu (4) and Venkateswara (1). Annamacharya sees oneness in Lord Venkateswara, although he is manifested in several names and forms which he worships as none other than Lord Venkateswara. These original songs are gathered from TTD Publications. They are transliterated into English. Telugu and Tamil.
Annamacharya's description of Lord's glories are highly elaborate and captivating. His songs in Bhakti bhava bless the singers with infinite pleasure and unparalleled joy. They are sure means for self realization and the fulfilment of highest Purushardha.
